Super Performance Centre is proud to be affiliated with some of the nation’s premier institutions for gymnastics, acrobatics and circus performance. We share a long and rich history with the likes of Gymnastics Queensland, Gymnastics Australia, Sylvia P Sportswear, AllSports Physiotherapy at Southport and look forward to sharing rewarding relationships with these great organisations and many others into the future.
GYMNASTICS QUEENSLAND
Acting underneath Gymnastics Australia, Gymnastics Queensland was founded in 1949 and is the governing body for all gymnastics related activities in the state of Queensland. This encompasses over 110 affiliated clubs providing a range of gymnastic programs for in excess of 32,000 athletes. Affiliated clubs meet the required safety and insurance standards as outlined by the organisation and all coaches operating out of affiliated clubs are accredited and technical members of Gymnastics Queensland. Gymnastics Queensland embraces the eight official Gymsports of gymnastics:
• Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) • Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) • Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG)• General Gymnastics (GG) • Sport Aerobics (AER) Trampoline Sports (TRP)• Sports Acrobatics (ACR) • Cheerleading (CHL)
GYMNASTICS AUSTRALIA
Founded in 1949, Gymnastics Australia is the peak governing body for all gymnastics related activities in the nation. With a mission to promote, develop and increase participation in gymnastics from grass roots to elite level, Gymnastics Australia coordinates and provides gymnastics for Australians through eight Association members:
• Gymnastics Australian Capital Territory • Gymnastics New South Wales • Gymnastics Northern Territory• Gymnastics Queensland • Gymnastics South Australia • Gymnastics Tasmania• Gymnastics Victoria • Gymnastics Western Australia
The organisation is responsible for setting the routines and routine guidelines for the National Levels Program which are used by gymnasts around the country.
